Gov. Abbott’s office announced this morning that more than one million ineligible voters have been removed from state voter rolls.
“Election integrity is essential to our democracy,” said Governor Abbott. “I have signed the strongest election laws in the nation to protect the right to vote and to crackdown on illegal voting.”
Many states with Republican leadership passed and implemented election integrity laws in the nearly four years since the 2020 presidential election. Democrat officials and candidates have baselessly condemned these new integrity laws, claiming they disenfranchise voters, all the while working to allow illegals to vote at the local level, a preview of what Democrats would inevitably like to do at the federal level.
There are 69 days until Election Day.
